Carlos Cumbe

I’m 25 years old, I have born in poor family but God chose my family to follow him. I grow in my mother’s care because my father has abandoned my mother, living her with 7 sons. When my father married with my mother she was widow and she had 5 sons with the first man, in total we being 12 sons. When our father leaves us our life became a trouble. We started have many and many problems because he stayed without support us just our mother was doing anything to support us. I remember that I did 9 years and when I did 10 years one of my brothers helped me to get study. When I was 12 years I and my brothers we started going to machava market place to catch leftovers, like cassava, cabbage, salad and others. We did those entire things just to getting something to cook at home. At same time when I come back from school I was sitting on the street to load package and get money to support my family and in this moment I started sleeping on the streets but God was all ways with me to bless me. Sometimes my mother was contracted to cultivate and she took us to help, the wage was maize and cassava. In that moment I had so many things to praise the Lord; one of them is because even we stay without someone to support us we never being sick or without anything to eat. In 2006 when I was 17 years I pass to grade 8 and I lose opportunity to continuo study because I was out of age and that moment I remembered that my father told me to get a job to support me at school, I call my father and I told him “Dad now I’m not study but I would like to continuo study, would you mind to get me a job where you are working? I want collect money for next year continuo study.” My father answered; you are still young to work in my company. And I asked him; do you remember that one day you told me to get a job to support my study? And nothing answered more, but because the God plain is never change at same year I saw my friend going to church and I told him, next time go with me in your church I want to congregate with you, and Sunday came my friend came to take to the church. There God blessed me so match, in March, 2006 came some visit from America to help a vulnerable family and I have been chose to work with them to build a house for the family and in December, 31, 2006, I was baptized. I collected some money and in 2007 I continued study in grade 8, in 2013 when I was to finish grade 12, I had some finance problems and I stopped study. My dream is to continuo study and going to university to doing civil construction.

This is one of my stories and I believe that one day I’ll be with you to let you know more and more about my story.

From Carlos Mozambique: ..

"I was born in a poor family of 4 members. We are Christian. I had a grandmother and my mom with 2 young sisters. My grandmother was supporting us with her pension until she passed away in 2006 and by then I was finish my school and I have to find job to support my family. I grew up without a father and my mom was not working. I had a dream when I was a child, I wanted to study in doctor but I failed because of financial problems. Now I am unemployed with only grade 12 certificate. My dream was changed. All I want is to study and work as as soon as possible for the save of my family. Even now I'm praying to God for his willing. That's all my life, dreams and wishes are leaving on God. God bless you"

If you have a heart and willing to help to support, please let me know. I would like to do the best for him in the Love of Christ.
